Born to Carpathian shepherds. Rose to lead the opryshky — a disciplined brotherhood who protected the vulnerable across the mountain territories. He commanded small teams that knew their ground, trusted each other without question, and carried the bartka — the Hutsul shepherd's axe — as both tool and oath of duty.
